Lauren Rosen, LCSW-R
Individual and Family Therapist
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in private practice, with over 30 years of experience working with individuals, couples, groups and families. My specialties include depression, anxiety, stress, grief, trauma, separation/divorce, substance abuse, physical and sexual abuse, relationship issues and stressors that affect the family. I work with adolescents, young adults, adults, couples and families.
Before working in private practice, I worked for Student Assistance Services, a Substance Abuse Prevention and Education agency. I was placed in various middle schools and high schools in Westchester County, working with adolescents and their families over issues related to alcohol and drug abuse, bullying, cyberbullying, depression, physical and sexual abuse, family problems, stress and anxiety.
Prior to Student Assistance Services, I was a supervisor and therapist at Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS) in an outpatient clinic. My work included treating adolescents and families struggling with depression, anxiety, grief issues, separations and divorce. Before WJCS, I worked as a therapist at Jewish Board of Family Children Services (JBFCS) in a Residential Treatment Facility (Linden Hill) that serves emotionally fragile adolescents.
